February 23 – Portland Story Theater at Norse Hall

A SPECIAL FEBRUARY EVENT: PORTLAND STORY THEATER AT NORSE HALL
We have a very special event planned for Friday, February 23, at 7:00 p.m. Lawrence Howard will narrate one of the most heart-wrenching adventure tales of all time, when  the Norwegian Roald Amundsen raced to the South Pole against the British RF Scott.
Lawrence Howard is one of the founders of Portland Story Theater. This program comes under its Armchair Adventurer series, featuring true stories from the Heroic Era of Antarctic Exploration just over one hundred years ago.
This event will be held in Norse Hall’s upstairs Lodge Room. Tickets will be $15 in advance, and $18 the day of the show.

Seating capacity is limited to 150. To book online, please click here.

For those interested in a combination: Our regular monthly social supper (TGIFF) will begin at 5:30 in the Lounge, and the charge is $3 as usual. Please let Kristine Crompton know if you plan to attend this light dinner, at kristinecrompton68@gmail.com.
NOTE: Listener discretion is advised. Due to the nature of the material influenced by a hostile environment, this event is intended for an audience of 17 or older; if younger, accompanied by guardian.
