About Sons of Norway

This is a new group being formed. We will focus of the interests of the younger Scandinavian adults with children.

The game plan is to arrange educational activities for Scandinavian children as well as fun parties and sports events for their parents.

Educational play time for children
The goal is for our kids to get together and play while learning Norwegian.
Here is what we are focused on:
Regular playtime meetings (perhaps a few hours every Saturday)
Language training in some form. This could vary from story telling (in Norwegian), play sessions where only Norwegian words are used, watching Norwegian movies and more.

Please join us at the planning meeting on May 22, 2004 and give us your input on the program. We will meet at 2 PM in the Nordic room. Bring your kids if you like, but this first session will be a discussion and introduction for the parents. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
